About the Role: We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our busy transport operation. This role involves a variety of nationwide haulage work, operating a modern fleet and supporting a wide range of customer requirements. This position would suit an experienced driver; however, training and development can be provided for the right applicant with the correct attitude and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out nationwide haulage operations
• Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and legally
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

About the Role: We are looking to recruit a Transport Planning & Compliance Officer to support our transport office, with a strong focus on abnormal load planning, movement orders, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for someone with experience in transport planning, abnormal loads, or haulage compliance, who is organised, detail-focused, and confident dealing with authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing and submitting abnormal load movement notifications
• Liaising with police forces, local authorities, National Highways, and stakeholders
• Planning abnormal load movements including route checks, timings, and restrictions
• Supporting operator licence compliance and documentation
• Maintaining transport records, permits, and movement files
• Supporting general transport office duties
• Working closely with Transport Managers, drivers, and operations teams
Essential Requirements:
• Experience in transport planning, compliance, or a haulage office role
• Knowledge of abnormal load movements and notification processes
• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Liaising with Appointed Persons, Slinger/Signallers, and site management
• Ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and site rules

What We’re Looking For / Essential:
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Mobile Crane Operator qualification
• Proven experience operating mobile cranes
